Knives by Koreshkov are original rarity in the hunting world. It's impossible to find the two identical knives, Koreshkov knife is always exclusive. The knives are handy, durable and they have the blade structure 'triple wedge', that gives the knive outstanding cutting characteristics.
The most difficult etching on steel and the finest gold inlaying make out the many-sided talent of master. The works of Andrey are in the Kremlin Armoury, Hermitage and private collections.
In contrast to traditional acid etching Koreshkov etches the surface of steel with special solution. Special structure makes possible to take off the layers of metal in microns. For making relief with necessary deep, master repeats the operation several times. With this he can reach the unusual accuracy of picture. On some pictures Koreshkov uses etching of 40-50 layers. Nobody in the world can repeat it! If the deepening of the picture into steel reaches 0,3-0,4 mm, that simple account shows, that every layer of etching has from 6 to 10 microns.
In this knife there is Koreshkov method of gold inlaying into pre-etching cells on the blade surface.
