The main plot of this composition is a fairy tale "The Little Humpbacked Horse" by P.P.Ershov. This is a russian fairy tale of a kind and noble peasant's son Ivan and his faithful friend.
Knife is made from forged blade which transitional to garda (made from ebony). Knife has a stand, which is made from walnut tree, ebony and a bell made from syakudo alloy. A stand has a beautiful ornament with a topic of russian architecture and the sculpture of Sunbird.
On the right side of the blade you can see the main character who is catching a Sunbird, a bird who is making a bright gold night because of the magic feathers. This ornament is made from gold, silver and cuprum. On the left side you can see how Ivan riding a horse.
